Fabbri Foundation announces the finalists of the twelfth edition of the Francesco Fabbri Prize for Contemporary Arts, an initiative curated by Carlo Sala, now in its twelfth edition, set in the splendid backdrop of Villa Brandolini in Pieve di Soligo. The exhibition features 50 finalists, divided between the two sections of Emerging Art and Contemporary Photography, selected by a prestigious jury that examined numerous applications.
The jury is composed of Daniele De Luigi, Rossella Farinotti, Antonio Grulli, Elisa Medde, Angel Moya Garcia, Giangavino Pazzola, Stefano Raimondi, and Mauro Zanchi, with Carlo Sala, the curator of the Prize, participating in both sections.The finalist artwork is titled “Antigagaismo.” A self-portrait inspired by the eponymous directive dated May 23, 1934, which prohibits the use of a starched collar when wearing a black shirt. In this series of self-portraits, the artist stages a series of guidelines on style, behavior, and customs extracted from the Regulations Sheet of the National Fascist Party.
