This project is focused on my on-going research on the different aspects of geography.
In this case my investigation is directed toward the concept of memory, interpretation and inaccuracy, which arise from the act of representation of the world’s geographic appearance.
This installation is the result of an exercise to memorise and depict the earth’s shape on thirty-two inflatable spheres, and offers to the viewer a playful journey into the imperfections of the human perception.
The purpose of the exercise was to measure how much my
knowledge of the earth geographic shape could be improved.
