Big Hits (Wars And Songs Commencing From The Year I Was Born) is a video realised using Karaoke and online found footages. It shows a chronological sequence of footages documenting a war for each year, commencing from 1983 (the year I was born) until 2017, when the work was made. Each conflict is paired with a karaoke version of the number one song according to the best selling singles chart in UK, following the same chronological order.

In this work I used different layers like autobiography, media languages, performance, memories and history. My intent is to question the representation of war created by the media using a more imaginative approach resulting from contrasting human emotions.
